Best Dance Hits of 2015

Attention!!!

It was an unbelievable year for dance music, especially EDM. 2015 was a year where almost all genres contributed to the development of dance music ranging from House, Pop, Hip-Hop, Latin Pop and R&B to Rap, Trap, Romanian Pop, Reggae Fusion and K-Pop. Unsurprisingly, EDM rules the list with so many entries with Avicii, Zedd, Calvin Harris and David Guetta having several entries.

The top spot this time goes to Major Lazer and DJ Snake's Moombahton global smash Lean On which features the vocals of Danish singer MØ. Major Lazer's hit was the most played track in the world at one time in 2015 and it is the trio's biggest hit to date. The song is accompanied by an awesome music video which also features a very quirky dance step for the addictive song. DJ Snake marks his second consecutive time at the top spot after topping the chart in 2014 for his Turn Down For What alongside Lil Jon. At a close second is David Guetta's Hey Mama which mixes House and Trap music while featuring Bebe Rexha, Nicki Minaj and Afrojack.

Among the new DJs we have Kygo, Deorro, Dillon Francis, Lost Frequencies and Galantis making an appearance on the list. Chris Brown leads with four entries on the list with David Guetta, DJ Snake and Meghan Trainor have three entries each followed by Zedd, Calvin Harris, Avicii, Flo Rida, Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, Alexandra Stan, Inna, Major Lazer, Fetty Wap, Justin Bieber, Afrojack, Usher, OMI and Jeremih all have two entries each. Top 40 Floorfillers of Today

Attention!!!

Have you ever felt like banging your head against a wall or punching the DJ in the face at a party as he continuously failed to play a good dance song? Nowadays DJs may be talented in terms of mixing songs, but most of them miserably fail to cater to the audience in terms of playing some good dance music. Sometimes they play one good dance song and move on to another song which is impossible to dance to. This is where a floorfiller comes in. When you play these songs it will be hard for those on the dance floor to leave it. The period has been restricted to this decade so all songs on this list are those that were released after 2010. Pitbull ft.Kesha's addictive global dance hit Timber takes the crown as it is the saving grace of all DJs these days to bait party people to get on the dance floor. At a close second and third are LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem and Don Omar's Danza Kuduro. Most of these songs are duets or collaborations by famous artists who have come together to produce an awesome dance hit. The genres range from Pop, Hip-Hop, European Pop, Latin Pop and EDM. Pitbull leads with 7 entries on the list and Enrique Iglesias, Shakira, Swedish House Mafia, Shakira, Nayer, DJ Snake, Mohombi, Calvin Harris, Tinie Tempah and LMFAO have two entries each.

Most Successful DJs of All Time

Attention!!!

Gone are the days when Disc Jockeys or DJs were merely props at parties to mix the songs or at recording studios behind closed doors coming out with remixes of popular songs. That era is now over. DJs have stepped up and are now releasing songs on their own mostly collaborating with other artists for vocals and have thus entered the mainstream. Some DJs like Calvin Harris, Krewella, NERVO and Havana Brown even provide vocals for their own music.
