Best Booty Songs of All Time

Attention!!!

Welcome to the era of the booty. About ten hit singles were released in the past year just about fat asses and big butts. With the advent of twerking and wiggling and all sorts of rump shaking the music industry has taken a new low, literally by producing so many mainstream hits about a girl's bottom. While rappers have always featured butts, boobs and g-spots, the entry of the big booty as a muse into the mainstream music scene is a new development. Meghan Trainor's All About That Bass takes the crown as it topped both the charts in the United Kingdom and the United States. While the song is  heavily reminiscent of the doo-wop style of the by-gone days of the golden era of music, Trainor allegedly sings about a body positive, but such interpretation is seriously subjective, as the song has come under heavy criticism. I guess the "blurred lines" of this controversy is due to the fact that the song enters the fray when booty songs are at their peak in the industry. Eminem and Flo Rida are the only two artists to have two entries in the list. So, here is the top 25 of the best booty songs of all time. Enjoy shaking your booty to this list…

Top Viral Music Videos of All Time

Attention!!!

The growth and development of the internet have led to other phenomena also related to it. Social media is one such phenomenon of the 21st century which have by leaps and bounds become a significant part of our lives. At the heart of it you will find Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Music videos is not a new concept as they have existed since the 60s even before the television became mainstream. However, music videos today is very much a hyped up subject. Whilst it can be the worst song in the history of music, it could also have one of the most popular and/or infamous music videos.

A viral video is a video that becomes popular over a short period of time through the process of sharing through social media. These videos either become popular because they are controversial such as in the case of Hannah Montana crossing over to  the dark side in We Can't Stop or Robin Thicke's scandalous Blurred Lines. However, some videos rise to fame due to the songs being extremely good such as Avicii's Wake me up or Rihanna's Diamonds. While YouTube is the main platform for videos to go viral other social media also plays a crucial role. Songs such as Gangnam Style and Wrecking Ball received the much overrated popularity mostly due to their music videos.

Psy's Gangnam Style definitely takes the throne with over 2 billion views on YouTube at present. In 2014 the 24 hour period record sparked off with Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball gaining over 19.3 million hits. However, this was surpassed by Nicki Minaj's Anaconda with over 19.6 million hits in just 24 hours. This record too was recently broken by Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar's Bad Blood garnering 20.1 million views in just 24 hours. Psy's Gentleman unofficially holds the record reaching 38.4 million views in one day, but is not officially acknowledged because it was only associated with Vevo four days later after its release. So here are the top 40 viral music videos of all time.
